With a long history dating back to 1897 this small seaside resort have been part of the regions history and after a difficult period has risen as a Phoenix. The Hotel have in the past 20 year struggled with its identity but have now opened in April 2017 with a new and old concept it is now operated as a traditional danish seaside resort where the focus is on delivering personal service with focus on the individual experience. The new concept also includes a gourmet restaurant which has already manifested it self as one of the absolutly best in Northzealand with a gastonomic focus on the combination of food and wine and combination of classic french cuisine in combination with modern nordic style.
Hotel Bretagne is decorated i a typical design of the traditional seaside resort with light colours that enhance the experience of the natural light, most bedrooms feature views overlooking Hornbæk lake, and Øresund strait. Our goumet restaurant have a panoramic view over Hornbæk lake. The hotel have a private parking lot, and is located only 300 m, from Hornbæk station.

Arriving by car
Motorway towards Helsingør, exit number 4 towards Kvistgaard/Hornbæk and follow the highway to Hornbæk, after entering Hornbæk drive towards Helsingør, and in the center of Hornbæk drive towards the railway station, you will find the Hotel just after the station.

From Helsingør station, take the local train to Hornbæk, and you will find the hotel only 300 m from the station
