Every overnight guest, regardless of the 7-day incidence on site, must present a negative test certificate upon arrival in accordance with Section 4 BayIfSMV.
When hotel guests arrive, a distinction is no longer made between business travelers and holiday guests with regard to the submission of a negative test certificate - the obligation applies to everyone.
In rural districts and urban districts with a 7-day incidence over 35, guests (regardless of whether they are tourist or business) require an additional test certificate for each additional 72 hours in accordance with § 4.
According to the SchAusnahmV, vaccinated and convalescent persons are exempt from the requirement to provide evidence of a negative test result.
