Guests are required to either scan the QR code and enter their details or complete a manual register when entering the hotel- restaurant or meeting space. - Depending on the Alert Level in place- housekeeping services may be limited to protect our guests and staff. This includes housekeeping on request- resting rooms between stays- housekeeping kits for guests wishing to self-isolate and restrictions to turndown service. - Restaurant services - Depending on the Alert Level in place- the restaurant services may be limited i.e. reduced or no buffet service- limited room service menu- additional spacing between tables for social distancing and a single server protocol. - Procedures are in place for events and meetings in the hotel. Arriving by car
All Directions: The George Hotel is located on Park Terrace opposite Hagley Park and the picturesque Avon River. Exit Christchurch Aiport southeastalong Memorial Avenue, which runs onto Fendalton Road taking you to Hagley Park. Turn left onto Harper Avenue until you get to the intersection of Bealy Avenue and Park Terrace. Turn right onto Park Terrace. The George is the 3rd corner on your left.
