The Landhotel Bauernwald is located in the old town of Fassberg/Müden on the Örtze River in the Lüneburg Heath. Surrounding hiking trails lead through extensive heath lands to the Haußelberg and Wietzer Mountains. The rivers Örtze and Wietze are rich in fish and offer relaxation for anglers.
The country hotel Bauernwald occupies a half-timbered building in Fassberg dating from 1840, and offers 14 single and 22 double rooms on a historic farmstead. The rooms provide all the modern conveniences of a 3-star superior hotel. A cosy restaurant, a lounge, a heath garden and a terrace overshadowed by oak trees invite guests to relax.
