Found in the heart of the spectacular Scenic Rim region just two hours' drive south west of Brisbane, we offer uniquely luxurious safari-style camping escapes to couples, as well as family, social or corporate groups of up to 20 on the doorstep of Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
We are located just a few minutes drive from our famous sister property – Spicers Peak Lodge – from which we gain inspiration for our customer service and cuisine.
As per the Spicers Group philosophy, Spicers Canopy offers just 10 luxury tents to ensure your stay is personal and private. The tents are fully furnished, offering a king bed (or twin beds), luxury bed linen, lamps, armchairs, bedside tables, polished floorboards, and a covered deck with deckchairs.
A rich eco tourism experience and up close and personal encounters with Australia’s unique plant and animal life are very much part of a visit to Spicers Canopy, as our fabulously well appointed permanent campsite lies close to the rich 8,000 acres of Australia’s most unique private nature refuge.
High on a plateau, the air at Spicers Canopy is pristine. At night, if guests can drag their eyes from the fire, they can look into skies so clear they can see satellites tracking past stars. A glass of nice red enhances moments such as these...

Spicers Canopy caters to adventurers who are accustomed to life’s luxuries from couples looking for a different luxury holiday to family, social or corporate groups of up to 20.
Our site is completely gas and solar powered and features 10 tastefully appointed safari-style Luxury Tents. Every tent offers:
•King-sized or twin beds with fine linens
•Polished floorboards
•Luxurious armchairs and bedside tables with lamps
•A covered deck with deckchairs
The large communal and dining area is beautifully appointed with a stone fireplace and polished floors. At its centre is a large custom-made table; the scene of many intimate gourmet meals.
The private bathrooms behind the communal and dining area are fastidiously cleaned and their steaming, solar-heated water is a welcome treat after a day’s bushwalking.
Spicers Canopy’s stunning mountain views are even more magnificent at sunrise and sunset.
All packages include:
•Pick-up from a nearby farmhouse followed by an easy 1.5 hour guided walk into the eco site (manageable for most fitness levels)
•Portage of your luggage from the farmhouse to the site
•Safari-style tent accommodation for up to 20 adults
•All meals and beverages
•Dedicated chef to prepare your delicious meals and host to look after your every need.
The team at Spicers Canopy are committed to sourcing the best
local ingredients and scour the region looking for the best of the
bunch. Your all inclusive package includes pre dinner canapés, 3 course dinner or a more casual Aussie
BBQ with a 5 hour standard beverage package.
For groups not taking exclusive use, evening meals will be Chef’s selection on the day. For groups who
do take exclusive use, evening meals may be requested from a variety of options including:
· Homemade woodfired pizzas straight from our outdoor pizza oven.
· Aussie BBQ, including seafood
· Organic Slow Roasted Lamb
· Pork from Tillari Trotters

Spicers Canopy offers the opportunity to have a conversation about your business, essentially around
the kitchen table. With the north facing wall of the lodge completely opening up with receding bi-fold
doors to allow the cooling summer breezes in, or the option to leave it closed in the cooler weather and
light the open fireplace, here’s your chance to sit around the table, out on the deck or on the lawn and
achieve your objective for getting out of the office.
Part of the Spicers Canopy experience is the guided hour and a half walk from our farmhouse into the
Canopy site. You have the option of simply enjoying the scenery along the way or commencing your
facilitated problem solving and brain storming sessions at check points along the way. The choice is
yours.
Standard audio visual equipment is included in your day delegate package, including wireless internet
access in the Eco Lodge.
