St. James’s Hotel and Club is a luxury five star townhouse hotel managed by specialist luxury hotel operator, Althoff Hotels and Gourmet Collection.
Tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac in prestigious St James’s, near Mayfair and Piccadilly, the hotel is ideally located within Central London and it is the perfect base for shopping, culture as well as business meetings or events. A multi-million pound restoration has created a harmony between contemporary chic and Victorian elegance.
With fabulous Penthouse suites and some of the best guest room terraces in London, the hotel boasts stylish, sleek, contemporary yet elegant interiors finished with handmade silk wallpaper, black lacquered furniture, handcrafted Murano glass chandeliers and polished natural stone in the bathroom.
A carefully appointed and original art collection features throughout the hotel. The Rosenstein Collection, dating from the 1920s-1950s, includes fine examples of Impressionist, Expressionist and Cubist work from all over Europe, which guests can enjoy in the hotel’s public rooms as well as in the privacy of their own suites.

The arrival of Executive Chef William Drabble at the St. James’s adds an extra dimension to guests dining experience. The Michelin-starred restaurant "Seven Park Place" by William Drabble was launched on September 2009 and offers a selection of dishes newly designed for the St. James’s Hotel and Club, which clearly illustrates the skill and creativity that won him a coveted Michelin star and three AA rosettes.
William’s dishes are modern-French in style but are made up of primarily British ingredients and Menus change regularly to reflect the seasons whether it be asparagus in May, sea bass in July or white truffles in December. Our guests all agree that the stylish yet intimate surroundings of Seven Park Place and the private dining rooms are the perfect backdrop for William´s exquisite dishes.
William oversees all aspects of the dining concept at the hotel, including private dining, room service and the hotel´s more informal dining space, William´s Bar & Bistro. With its comfortable seating and an unhurried, sophisticated atmosphere, it is the ideal place to relax and has the added advantage of a bistro menu of classic dishes created by a Michelin-starred chef.
The menu is perfect for light lunches, pre and post theatre dinners or for supper. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s traditional Afternoon Tea, served daily in the hotel’s elegant lounge.
