Location
As the Best Western Plus Parkhotel Velbert has a central position close to three important cities, Düsseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal, it is very easy to get to it from all directions. Even the international airport in Düsseldorf is only 30 minutes away from the hotel.
Arrival by plane
From Düsseldorf’s International Airport take the S6 to Essen-Werden and the bus No. 169, 179 or SB19 to the bus stop “Postamt”.
Arrival by car
From the North:
take the A1 motorway to the junction AB-Kreuz Wuppertal-Nord.
From the south:
take the A3 motorway to the junction AB-Kreuz Wuppertal-Nord/Hilden. Then from the north and south, follow the A46 in the direction of Wuppertal to Sonnborner Kreuz. Take the B224 in the direction of Heiligenhaus to the exit Essen-Werden/Velbert-Nord. Turn left in the direction of Velbert Zentrum. At a
major crossing (you will see the post office on the left), turn right (Poststrasse) and then take the second road on the right.
Arrival by train
Travel to Essen-Hauptbahnhof (main station). From there take bus SB19 to the bus stop “Postamt”.
