From the motorway D1 (Žilina - Poprad) exit Mengusovce to the road Nr. 18 direction Mengusovce, Štôla; after approx. 100 meters take the road Nr. 539 direction Mengusovce, Štôla; at the northern edge of Štôla municipality turn to the right, branch Hotel Avalanche.

Arriving by public transportation

Fast train connection - Poprad station (track Žilina - Poprad - Košice; track Praha - Poprad pickaback train) ; there is a regular bus service from Poprad (approx. every 90 min) to Štôla (line Poprad - Vyšné Hágy - Štrbské Pleso); bus stop in Štôla - 50 m from the Hotel Avalanche.
