Arriving by car

Rotorua Airport: (SW) Driving time from Rotorua Airport is a maximum of 5 minutes. Turn out the Airport driveway and take a left. Follow this highway which is SH30. Continue straight past a major turn off intersection going to Whakatane. (At this intersection the highway changes from SH30 to SH33 - it does not state this clearly with road signs). Continue straight ahead until you come to major green road signs that state MOUREA. After these signs we are 800 metres down the road on the right hand side. The driveway entrance has large schist stone gates with the Duxton Hotel sign above.
