nhow London is award winning, new hotel that received the silver medal for ‘Best Hotel Design’ in the UK, awarded by Luxury Lifestyle Magazine Readers’ Travel Awards.
nhow London (pronounced “now”) has re-opened its door in July 2021 following temporary closure due to pandemic. We are a brand new hotel which only opened its door in January 2020.
190 bedrooms, 5 event spaces including 3 private meeting room, The Lobby ideal for events and Bells and Whistle Restaurant.
The hotel has been designed by Sir Norman Foster’s acclaimed architectural firm Foster & Partners. This designed hotel is located at 2 Macclesfield Road between the Old Street and Angel Stations in close proximity to trendy Shoreditch and City.
The hotel themed is ‘Old London Reloaded’, it was designed by architect James Soane and combines British icons with unconventional contemporary elements. These include a Big Ben rocket sculpture in the lobby and a wood installation around an LED fireplace. Across eight storeys the hotel features a restaurant, bar, gym, networking spaces and meeting rooms.
Restaurant The Bell and Whistle is a modern take on a traditional British pub, with green leather seating coiling, tables featuring cockney rhyming slang and gold bell lights reminiscent of church bells. Meanwhile a central pillar features a pixelated LED grid with moving images.

When it’s time to call it a night, head up to your bedroom and make yourself at home. With a front door reminiscent of a traditional London townhouse, you’ll feel like you’re walking into your new home. We certainly wish we could live in our bedrooms; with designer furniture, avant-garde artwork, the comfiest beds, bespoke bathroom amenities, and all the home-comforts you could ask for including Dilmah tea.
