The Newbury Boston is located in the city s elegant and vibrant Back Bay. Originally opened in 1927 as one of the first Ritz-Carlton hotels in the United States, this iconic Boston landmark will reopen in Fall 2020. The property will be re-imagined with a thoughtful new floor plan, dramatic public spaces, 286 redesigned guestrooms including 90 suites , stunning event spaces and new food and beverage experiences, including a rooftop restaurant, a library lounge exclusively available to hotel guests and the restoration of the beloved Street Bar. Residential in feel, each of the guest rooms and suites will incorporate a calming color palette, richly textured furnishings and original artwork, along with amenities exclusively curated for guests. The Newbury Boston will offer 16,000 square feet of dramatic and flexible event spaces that have been updated with modern functionality, providing an ideal setting for meetings and celebrations overlooking The Public Garden.

Taj Boston maintains 273 guestrooms, including 45 executive & garden view suites.Every space has been enhanced with elegant furnishings,imported fabrics,luxurious bedding and pampering bath amenities. Health & Fitness: The new health and fitness facility for guests is located on the fourth floor of the hotel. The Concierge can arrange for racquetball, golf, tennis, jogging, sailing and other local sporting activities. Professional massage is available on the premises for both men and women. Plus, guests can bring their children who can look forward to fun activities planned especially for their enjoyment.

Directions for Taj Boston: From Logan International Airport: * Follow signs to Sumner Tunnel. * Stay to the right when exiting the tunnel, and follow signs for Storrow Drive. * Take the second exit off of Storrow Drive for Back Bay/Copley Square. * Turn left onto Beacon Street at the light, and then make an immediate right onto Arlington Street. * Taj Boston is two blocks down on the right immediately after Commonwealth Avenue. From the Massachusetts Turnpike/ 90 East: * Take exit 22 for Copley Square and stay in the right lane towards Copley Square. * At the light, take a left onto Dartmouth Street. * Follow Dartmouth Street through three sets of lights until you reach Commonwealth Avenue. * Take a right onto Commonwealth Avenue at the fourth light and follow to the end. * At the light, take a right onto Arlington Street. * Taj Boston is immediately to on the right. From the North: * Proceed on Route 93 South to Boston. * Take exit 26 and follow signs for Storrow Drive. * Take the second exit off of Storrow Drive for Back Bay/Copley Square. * Turn left onto Beacon Street at the light, and then make an immediate right onto Arlington Street. * Taj Boston is two blocks down on the right immediately after Commonwealth Avenue.
